'This is the stronger, more adventurous group, going farther afield. Rides and locations are published in advance. We are out for most of the day, usually covering 30–45 miles, depending on the leader. You can simply turn up at the published meeting point. For more information, see the 'A' Ride page.

We also occasionally arrange weekday rides for those who are retired or not working, depending on the weather.

Out & About rides are informal cycling excursions exploring the history, landscape and cultural life of the Tamar Valley and surrounding country. Routes are chosen as much for what can be discovered along the way — churches, estates, mines, quays, villages and local stories — as for the cycling itself.

The rides grew out of Plymouth Cycling Club’s former B Group and are now arranged from time to time, according to interest, weather and opportunity.
